Use of Trained Border Collies
WyndSong Border Collies and Canada Goose Management will be responsible for the ownership and the use of the trained Border Collies at the proposed location to use their natural herding instinct to encourage the Canada Geese to fly to areas that are less populated and more like their natural habitat, or remain in acceptable chosen locations.

WyndSong Border Collies and Canada Goose Management shall perform this management technique as needed in response to Canada Geese presence as observed by WyndSong Border Collies and Canada Goose Management, as well as in response to Canada Geese presence reported to WyndSong Border Collies and Canada Goose Management by the proposed location. WyndSong Border Collies and Canada Goose Management will respond to unscheduled emergency calls (as possible).

Control Actions
WyndSong Border Collies and Canada Goose Management will recommend changes in and around the pond area (if applicable) and shall implement other methods to help stabilize the Canada Goose population at the proposed location. Other available techniques may include, but are not limited to, grounds maintenance (e.g., mowing heights; provision of alternative/acceptable nesting areas; maintenance of storm water conveyances; exclusion fencing).

WyndSong Border Collies and Canada Goose Management shall develop the protocol to accommodate the proposed location requirement.

Record Keeping
WyndSong Border Collies and Canada Goose Management shall record all observations, control and inspection activities in accordance with the procedures established in the protocol.

WyndSong Border Collies and Canada Goose Management can aid in obtaining permits and performing actions concerning destruction of eggs or nests and capture on treatment of injured Canada Geese.
